Leanne Tran, JD, MD

Dr. Tran is a uniquely qualified medical legal expert consultant.
Leanne’s background, training, credentials and experiences allow her to have a full understanding of how hospitals and the health care system work. For example, she is able to quickly sort through complicated health records and summarize pertinent facts that will enable counsel to assess the merits of a medical malpractice or personal injury case including standard of care, causation issues and quantum of damages.
Leanne is often requested to perform a first read of a file and then discuss the matter with the referring lawyer. In certain cases, a determination to go no further is arrived at and the client’s costs and time invested are minimized.
Leanne has been retained to improve pleadings and in particular, advised on who to name as litigants, developed questions for discovery, and participated in trial strategy. In short, Leanne provides a competitive advantage for her clients at trial or during settlement negotiations.
